Origins
Giuncaie began as a simple idea: a place where vineyard work, olive trees and hospitality come together. Michele’s companions—Cohiba and Maestrale—are part of this landscape. Our first wine, Iba, is named after Cohiba: a tribute to loyalty and to the convivial spirit of Italian countryside life.

Vineyard and land
On gentle Tuscan hills we grow Sangiovese and other varieties with patience. We harvest by hand and do as little as needed in the cellar. The aim is balance: honest, elegant wines that sit well at the table.
